Collection: Anniina Juuti - Knitting instructions

I am Anniina Juuti, a mother from Central Ostrobothnia and a dressmaker by profession. My main job is sales and customer service manager at a fitness center and I also do knitwear design under my own business name.

I already learned to knit as a child, but my enthusiasm for knitting ignited when I was expecting my first son. I made my first knitted socks at Mia Sumeli's co-knitting and that sparked my enthusiasm for crocheting. I published my first guide in September 2020 and at the end of 2020 I established a business name.

As a designer, I am inspired by the surrounding things and forms. My designs also have a lot of influences from travel. I have spent a lot of time on the other side of the world in Australia and New Zealand and America.

My journey as a knitwear designer is just at the beginning, the desire to learn and develop is huge. Several new models have already been outlined, including shirts, socks, and cardigans. I also share the joy of knitting by teaching the civic college's knitting courses at Taitokeskus Kankuri, with English-language YouTube vlogs, and of course by being active on Instagram.
