The Mexican Hilos Omegan manufactures La Espiga nylon thread, which is available in four different thicknesses. The yarn has a smooth surface, quite shiny and its twist is rope-like. These properties make the yarn a perfect material for crocheted bags, purses and make-up bags, for example. In the La Espiga belt, the manufacturer states that the product is particularly suitable for "fishing nets, bags, macrame knotting and crafts".
You can crochet a pattern and decoration from this material by changing a usable everyday bag or even a super-stylish envelope bag for a party! Nylon thread is the best and most original option for crocheting, because the metal doesn't wear it out, as it might happen to e.g. cotton.
